EXCEED Skills Exhibition 2026: First Edition
As part of the EXCEED – Excellence in Green and Digital Manufacturing project, the first edition of the EXCEED Skills Exhibition 2026 took place, bringing together VET students from five European countries and creating a platform for sharing innovative solutions in advanced manufacturing and sustainability. This year’s theme focused on Zero Waste Communities and the role of advanced manufacturing in developing efficient and environmentally responsible solutions.
The Czech team “Copag Boys” from the Secondary Technical School – Centre of Vocational Training and Grammar School (COPAG) also participated in this international initiative, representing the Czech Republic. The students worked on their own project proposals addressing current challenges related to sustainable manufacturing, while also presenting their ideas to an international audience.
The EXCEED Skills Exhibition is not only a showcase of student projects, but above all a practical learning experience. Through project work, students develop key competences for today’s labour market, including teamwork, the ability to approach problems from a broader perspective, the use of digital tools, and effective communication and presentation skills. These competences are essential not only in advanced manufacturing but also within the wider context of the digital and green transition.
This year’s edition also featured an online presentation of projects through the virtual EXCEED Expo, where visitors can explore individual student projects in detail, watch video presentations, and connect with participants across Europe. This format also demonstrates how modern technologies can support collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the internationalisation of vocational education.
Participation in the EXCEED Skills Exhibition highlights the importance of international cooperation between schools, education providers, and industry partners.
